Formed in 1982 by Michael & Elaine Burns and joined in 2005 by daughter Joanna.  Modern Homes has become synonymous with quality products at affordable prices, professional design and fitting to the highest standards using only time served trade’s people.  All work is project managed by our dedicated staff.  Working with major furniture and appliance manufacturers, the company first began supplying the North West corner of Cumbria but later established a wider geographical market place based on recommendation from satisfied customers.
